ScanVue Entry is a
single 32-bit program that can be used in three separate and distinct
modes of operation available under the menu option "Mode".. Most
of the functions in any mode can be utilized from the keyboard,
eliminating the time consuming task of alternating between mouse and
keyboard. The three "Modes" are:
View : Our viewer is one of the
fastest raster viewers on the market and will view various raster formats
as single or multipage images. Many features are available including a
"Flying Magnifying Glass", "Rotation of Multiple
Images", and a "Split Screen." Viewable formats are the
common and basic types of TIF...BMP...JPG...

View/Comment:
This option will allow entry of any comment and associate that comment
with the viewed image or will allow the copying of that image to a
pre-selected directory with a single keystroke.
A:
The ability to "Tag" or enter information for any particular
image into a Text/Log ASCII file with the text entry field and the image
visible in the same viewing window. This information can be used to
identify only the particular images requiring additional editing, or for
single entry/indexing into a custom database.

Copy the image file currently being viewed into (up to 4) different
pre-selected and specified directories with one keystroke. This option may
be used to group/isolate images requiring further processing or merely to
separate different size/kinds of images.

View/Index: The option of entering
Information into two main and distinct types of Text/Log files for every
image with the text entry fields and a user defined enlarged section in
the same viewing window
A:
One of the two main types of the Text/Log files that can be created is an ASCII
"Batch" file used to automatically rename individual images within a single
directory. Specifying this type of file will open a single field that will
allow you to enter any new names you require for each of the images. The
resulting file created will allow any and all images within a single
directory to be renamed, with one keystroke, to the new name entered for
that image. Additional options under this type will also allow you to save
this as a Comma (,) Delimited file and create a file displaying the total

B:
The second type of Text/Log file can be easily
create a Database file with up to one hundred (100) individual fields
containing information about an image. This file is a standard Comma (,) Delimited ASCII
text file and will automatically contains the complete image information; Drive, Directories,
Filenames, Extensions, along with all information entered into each field
separated by a comma. Only images with any information entered will
be listed in this file. This second type, created with multiple field entries, can be
created by any typist with only minor instructions. This file can be
importing into
MS spreadsheet and database applications as well as entry/indexing
